Software Built for Trucking

Software Development for Trucking

Custom Software for Trucking Companies

We build the tools a trucking office actually runs on — portals, management tools, phone systems, billing and reports — and we run them ourselves every day.

Our own placement platform, our recruiters' phone lines and a truck parking yard's back office are all software we designed and built. Tell us what's slowing your office down and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth building.

The Problem

Off-the-shelf software wasn't built for your operation

!

You pay for several tools that don't talk to each other — and the important numbers still live in a spreadsheet.

!

Generic software doesn't know what an MC number, a lease-on, a retention milestone or a yard spot is.

!

Your team re-types the same driver, tenant or customer details into two or three systems.

!

When something breaks, you're a ticket number to a vendor who has never been inside a trucking office.

What we've built

Software running in trucking today

Not concepts — platforms we designed, built and still run for our own operation and our clients.

Driver placement platform for recruiting agencies and carriers

Onboard

Runs CDL Agency's driver submissions and partner agencies' placements.

Recruiters upload a driver's CDL, the application fills itself in, and a submission packet goes to the carrier. The carrier approves, declines or confirms the hire from a secure link, and every placement lands in a commission ledger that pays out by retention milestone.

  • AI reads the driver's CDL photo or PDF and fills in the application
  • Submission packets sent to carriers in one step
  • Carriers approve, decline or confirm a hire from a secure link — no login
  • Shared pipeline, calendar and carrier chat
  • Commission ledger with installments paid per retention milestone
  • Partner invitations with e-signed agreements

Business phone lines for recruiters and agencies

Onboard Voice

Runs CDL Agency's recruiting phone lines, and is being opened up to partner recruiters.

A recruiter picks a real local number, and the line is set up on a proper business phone system automatically. Agencies manage their team's lines, invites and billing from one workspace — no calls to a phone company, no shared personal cell numbers.

  • Pick a real local number by area code
  • Lines set up on a 3CX business phone system automatically
  • Solo and agency workspaces with team invites
  • Suspend, restore or reset a line's access from one screen
  • Subscription billing and a prepaid usage wallet (Stripe)
  • One directory of every line and extension across providers

Back-office software for a truck parking yard

Yard software for Chicagoland Truck Center

Built for and run by Chicagoland Truck Center's office staff.

The yard's office runs from one screen: a live map of every spot, a file for every tenant company, and a ledger that tracks what each one owes. Rent roll and aging reports export straight to Excel, PDF or CSV.

  • Color-coded yard map — available, paid and unpaid spots at a glance
  • Tenant files with MC/DOT numbers, contacts, agreements and IDs
  • Spot assignment by vehicle type, with every move logged
  • Invoices, receipts, partial payments and credits, with PDF invoices
  • Rent roll, rent paid and aging A/R reports to Excel, PDF or CSV
  • Gate phone-number queue and staff roles
What We Build

The pieces a trucking office runs on

Partner and customer agreements signed inside the app and stored with the record they belong to.

Phone Systems & Numbers

Real local numbers, lines and extensions for your team, set up on a business phone system.

Billing & Invoicing

Invoices, payments, credits, subscriptions and PDF statements — through Stripe or your own process.

Reports & Exports

Rent rolls, aging, commissions and pipelines, exported to Excel, PDF or CSV when you need them.

How It Works

From a messy process to software your team uses

01

Discovery Call

We learn how your office runs today — who does what, in which tools, and where time and money leak.

02

Written Scope

A plain-English plan: the screens, the users, the integrations and the price, agreed before any code.

03

Build & Review

You see working screens early and often, and we adjust as your team tries them — no big reveal at the end.

04

Launch & Support

We launch it, train your team and keep fixing and improving it as your operation changes.

Built by a trucking company, not a generic dev shop

CDL Agency recruits truck drivers for carriers, and the software on this page runs real trucking work. Onboard handles our driver submissions, carrier decisions and commissions. Onboard Voice runs our recruiters' business phone lines. And Chicagoland Truck Center's office runs its truck parking yard — spots, tenants, invoices and reports — on software we built for them.

Why that matters for your project

  • We already speak trucking. MC and DOT numbers, lease-ons, settlements, escrow, rent rolls and retention milestones don't need explaining.
  • We build what gets used. Every tool above is used by working teams — ours and our client's — not a demo that never shipped.
  • We'll tell you when not to build. If a product you can buy already does the job, we'll say so — it's cheaper for you. Our build-vs-buy guide walks through how to decide.
